Great Attention to Public Welfare Undertakings—— Qingjian Contributes RMB 100,000 to the Construction of Five Love Libraries
To further implement “the three-year plan of Qingdao Youth Federation to help with precision poverty alleviation” and assist the members of Qingdao Youth Federation to pair up in giving support to poverty-stricken families, the activity themed “Members of Qingdao Youth Federation Help with Poverty-Alleviation of One Hundred Families”, and the pairing ceremony of Licang Youth Federation and Laixi Youth Federation in helping poor families, were held in Malianzhuang town, Laixi, on the morning of September 8. Han Changli, deputy secretary of Qingdao Commission of Communist Youth League of China, and Ji Yushui, deputy mayor of Laixi Municipality, attended the ceremony, and Li Ziqiang, secretary of the Youth League Committee of Qingjian Group Co., Ltd., participated in the assistance ceremony.
While pursuing self-development, Qingjian Group Co., Ltd. actively takes its social responsibilities and shows great enthusiasm for social and public welfare undertakings, especially for assisting poor students and social groups in difficulty. It establishes the RMB100-million Qingjian Charity Fund, by continuous investing in a planned way and step-by-step. Meanwhile, Qingjian takes active part in various public welfare activities. During this assistance activity, it contributed RMB 100,000 to four schools in poverty-stricken towns of Laixi and one school in the poverty-stricken town in Jimo, to build a Hope Project Love Library for each of them. Upon the completion of these love libraries, the teaching conditions of these schools will be greatly improved, and the visions of the children studying there will be expanded and their knowledge enriched, in the interest of adolescents.
