　　President Wang Xianmao Elected as the Chairman of Qingdao Construction Industry Association

　　On March 30, the second standing council of the fourth Qingdao Construction Industry Association (QDCIA) was held, on which the chairman of the association was reelected. President of the board of CNQC Wang Xianmao was elected as the chairman. Among over 60 people present at the meeting were chief engineer of Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Construction Project Management Lv Lixin, director of Qingdao Municipal Project Quality Supervision Station Liu Xinguang, chief engineer Cui Hao, deputy chairman and executive directors of Qingdao Construction Industry Association.

　　At the meeting, deputy chairman Yang Jianqiang read the report on the work of the past year of Qingdao Construction Industry Association and the requirements for reelection during this term. The election was presided over by deputy chairman Sun Yong, and Wang Xianmao was elected as the chairman with the uniform agreement of over 60 representatives.

　　Chairman Wang Xianmao delivered a speech. He expressed his thanks for the members’ trust and support, summarized the great achievements accomplished by QDCIA in 2016, and made arrangements for the next stage of work: keeping in close contact with member units; prompting member units to improve the level of operation and management and the core competitiveness of enterprises; serving as an assistant to the government; actively going global and attracting foreign investments; strengthening the construction of QDCIA and letting more enterprises participate in the association’s construction and contribute more to building Qingdao into a pleasant, livable and innovation-based international city.

　　Chief engineer of Qingdao Municipal Administration of Construction Project Lv Lixin also made a speech. He sang high praise of the work of QDCIA over the past year and said the association contributed actively to the sound and steady development of construction industry last year. He hoped QDCIA will accelerate modernization of construction industry in the future, implement the strategy of innovation-driven development, further make system reforms, strengthen honesty construction, and give a priority to the improvement of the quality safety level of Qingdao’s construction industry. At the same time, QDCIA should, by forming and enhancing the awareness of serving enterprises wholeheartedly and helping with improvement of the development level and quality of construction industry, act as a bridge and contribute to the reform and development of construction industry of Qingdao.
